Applications of GPS and Vehicle Tracking Devices in Farming and Husbandry

With the arrival of modern technologies such as Satellite-based Navigation and Positioning System, farmers have shifted from normal agriculture practices to precision agriculture or site-specific farming. A combination of Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) has enabled the farmers to make this switch.
