What is an open API?
An Open API (often referred to as a Public API) is a publicly available application programming interface that provides programmatic access to a proprietary software application to developers. APIs are sets of requirements that govern how one application can communicate and interact with another. They also allow developers to access certain internal functions of a program. In the simplest terms, an API allows one piece of software to interact with another piece of software. They may be used by both developers inside the organization that published the API or by any developers outside that organization who wish to register for access to the interface.
ThinkRace is providing Open APIs and SDKs of its products such as GPS watches, GPS trackers, vehicle trackers to third parties so that they can build their own tracking application suited for different markets. That makes it easy for our clients/partners to integrate the location services to their own system, or they can even build their own mobile tracking app or web tracking platform.
How to start to use API
Our clients/partners can apply for the API key, ThinkRace team will help to setup the server with the open API and provide sample codes to integrate the API with the existing system.
